AWS Worldwide Commercial Sales
Operations team is looking for ambitious students to join us as a Product
Manager intern and work together with our team to invent new reporting products
and features on behalf of customers. Product Manager Interns will closely work
with Product Managers and BI developers to drive ideas from conception to
execution, define customer needs and come up with solutions, define and analyze
success metrics, manage strategic projects, and own the products end-to-end.
This role will require you to
invent new ways of looking at the many dimensions of our business. This
individual will collaborate effectively with internal end-users and
cross-functional data teams to solve problems, implement new reporting
solutions, and deliver successfully against high standards.
Sales Insights, Analytics, Data
Engineering and Science team (SIADS) is the single source of truth on
analytics, insights and predictive/science based findings across the Worldwide
commercial Sales team. Our group is a team of builders that Think Big to tackle
exciting, impactful problems and drive excellence at AWS Sales. We strive to
cultivate an engaged and active team culture through inclusive problem solving.
Job responsibilities include:
· Develop program materials, templates, documentation, and other
assets.
· Identify opportunities to improve our products, services,
processes, systems, and tools.
· Collaborate and partner with business teams to define and solve
problems that impact customers.
· Define analytical approaches to uncover new insights and
formulate recommendations that improve processes.
· Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas
of opportunity and present written business recommendations.
· Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive
adoption and deliver desired business outcomes.
· We are looking for a part-time (20 hours) working student for 1
year starting in June of 2023.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
·
Currently enrolled in or will
receive a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a graduation date between May 2024
and September 2024.

Fluent written and verbal
communication in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong skills to work with Excel.
· Strong project management skills· Ability to think/act
strategically and tactically.
· Results-driven focus with analytical capability.
· Excellent communications and presentation skills.
· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
· Ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices.
· Hands-on experience of BI tools e.g. Tableau
· SQL knowledge.
· Advanced skills in working with large datasets.
· Knowledge of model product management frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban.
