Location: Stockholm / Sweden

 

Purpose of the job is to take part in projects of development and maintenance wayside products. Most of the tasks will be focused in area of train signalling systems. The Hardware Team is developing and maintaining train onboard safety systems which includes all Hardware sub-systems for onboard and wayside products. As a Hardware Engineer you will bring your contribution to the products development which involves HW components and communication systems with analog, digital design and testing. Our products have the highest fail-safe requirements, reliability and work under the harshest operational environments.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Design, Implementation and Verification of Hardware for different systems and platforms;
  • Analyse faulty products or problem in production through Hardware and System verification;
  • Participate in process improvements and evaluation of new technologies;
  • Identification of stakeholder requirements;
  • Documentation according to Alstom processes and tools.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering/Electronics;
  • At least 2 years of experience on similar position within the area of electronics design;
  • Circuit simulation with Pspice/LTSpice;
  • Familiarity with Power, Analog/Mixed Signal Design would be beneficial;
  • Familiarity with EMC, NFC, Transformers would be beneficial;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Swedish would be an asset (eagerness to learn Swedish);
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Team player’s approach.
